Gordon Gonyo

Gordon Gonyo was born in July of 1954 and passed away April 21, 2021 at the age of 66.

Gordy was an avid outdoorsman who traveled the entire Appalachian Trail as a young man. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, biking and exploring. He was rarely without his pet golden retriever. And he earned the nickname "The Red Squirrel" for his abilities to climb trees while working as an Arborist.

Gordy is survived by his ex-wife Liz Field Gonyo and stepson Christopher Gonyo; his brothers Robert, Todd, Tim and Steve; his sister Carolyn and sisters-in-law Sandra & Suzie; nieces and nephews Benjamin, Amy, Allison & Kevin. He is predeceased by his brother William Gonyo.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 PM on July 31st at Chili American Legion Post 1830, located at 450 Scottsville-Chili Rd. Chili, NY 14546.
