Philip S. McCarthy

Born in Houston, TX on March 28, 1983,  Philip passed away peacefully with his father at his side on Dec 25, 2021 after a long battle with Congestive Heart Failure. Phil was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and trapping, but his true love was deer hunting in New York, with his dad. Many stories were told of “Huge Bucks” that mostly eluded Phil, but he was always the luckiest hunter at camp as far as Buck sightings go.

He is survived by his daughters Aryana McCarthy and Alexis McCarthy of Boyertown, PA; his father, Dennis J. McCarthy II of Cortland, NY; and his mother Beckey McCarthy from Pottstown, PA; two sisters, Sara Young of West Chester, PA and Faren Stone of Parish, NY; brother, Dennis J. McCarthy III from Pottstown, PA .

A Celebration of Life Is planned for Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 1-3 PM at Gators Tavern, 83 Owego St. Cortland, NY.
