Gates: Unexpectedly on April 22, 2019 in his sleep. Survived by his loving wife Miriam; daughter Teca (Garland) Miller; grandchildren Tony & Anna Giullia Miller; sisters Bonnie (Rick) Griffith, MaryAnne (Tom) McPherson, Deborah (David) Smith, Annette (Patrick) Boettcher; brothers Curtis Jr. (Terri), Larry, David (Kerrie) & Danny Dishaw; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to call Friday 4-6 pm at James R. Gray Funeral Home and to a celebration of his life Saturday 10 am at Spiritus Christi Church, 121 N. Fitzhugh St. Interment will be private.
