John "Ty" Whitehair Obituary

Brockport: Ty passed away peacefully on November 22, 2019 at the age of 102. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years Mary M. (McMahon) Whitehair & daughter Maureen A. Whitehair. He is survived by daughters Mary Wiseman, Kathleen (Joe) Amorese; sons Tyrone (Melanie), Mark, Thomas (Kim Bostley), Joseph (Ines), John (Lisa) Whitehair; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Ty was a World War II US Navy Veteran & firefighter with the City of Rochester Fire Department for more than 33 years.

Family & friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10 am at St. Monica’s Church, Genesee St. Interment private in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Honor Flight Rochester at www.honorflightrochester.org in memoriam.
