Julia “Judy” DeRooy Obituary

Gates: On December 8, 2019. Predeceased by husband Peter. Survived by sons David (Penny) DeRooy, Aaron (Cathy) DeRooy & Jason (Debra) DeRooy; grandchildren Matthew & Joshua; sister Sophie Schubert; nieces; nephews & cousins.

Judy was the Gates Town historian for many years, as well as the Chairman of the Gates Zoning Board, Secretary of Gates Chili High School, member of the Woman's Republican Club, member of Gates Volunteer Ambulance, a member of the Mother's of Twins Club and the Dr. Fleming Group.

Friends are welcome to a Celebration of Judy’s Life Tuesday January 7, 2020 11am at Parkminister Presbyterian Church, 2710 Chili Ave. Private Interment in Grove Place Cemetery. Kindly consider Gates Volunteer Ambulance, 1001 Elmgrove Rd, Rochester, NY 14624 in her memory.
