A. James LaBue Obituary

On July 21st, 2025. Beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather. James was predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Josephine (Costanzo) LaBue; his siblings Anthony, Samuel (Ruth), Mary, Eugene and Lewis, who was a Silver Star recipient, killed in action in the Philippines during WWII; nephews James and Thomas LaBue, and niece Laura LaBue.

He is survived by his daughters Lisa (Douglas) Smith, Danielle (Christopher) LaBue; grandchildren Ashley (Stuart) Frame, Courtney (Tyler) Kime, Kaitlin (Patrick) Donovan, Lindsay (Timothy) Dengler, Tanner, Kellan, and Casey Bronson; great-grandchildren Douglas and Amelia Frame, Rylie and Leah Kime, Ana and Jack Donovan, William, Charles, Catherine, and Hugh Dengler, sister in law, Joan LaBue, nephews Richard (Jan) LaBue and Nicholas Valletta.

He attended Benjamin Franklin High School and later joined the United States Army Air Corps and was stationed in the Philippines during WWII. He was a graduate of the University of Rochester and obtained his law degree from Brooklyn Law School.

He was a history buff and an avid reader. He enjoyed his time outdoors and spending time with his loved ones.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Strong Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care and support.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
