Gates: On February 20, 2023. He is predeceased by his Wife Theresa M. (Simone) Statt; parents Edward and Bernadette Statt; sisters Joanne Statt, Lorraine Statt & Christine Cregan. Survived by sons David (Terri) & Andrew Statt; daughters Jamie Dugan; step daughters Erika (Fred) Lenhard & Felicia Greth; grandchildren Justyn Dugan, Eric & Krista Statt; step grandchildren Sophia & Sammy Lenhard; brother Gerard (Lona) Statt; sisters Dolores (John) Dudinyak, Elaine Sullivan, Marilyn Powell, Donna (Gary) Ehinger, Rosemary (Michael) Hanscom; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was an Eastman Kodak retiree, Gates-Chili School District Bus Driver, Town of Gates Parking Monitor & Bus Driver, Member of Gates Volunteer Special Police, Legion Post 1830, F.O.E. Aerie #52, Seneca Park Zoo and US Navy Veteran.

Friends and family are invited to his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 beginning at 11 AM at Parish of the Holy Family, 4100 Lyell Road, Gates, NY 14606. Interment will be at a later date in Holy Ghost Cemetery.  Kindly consider a donation to Seneca Park Zoo Society in his memory.
