Obituary
On July 31, 2023, Betty L. Laws passed away peacefully in her home. Betty was one of 13 children born in Philipsburg, PA. She was a stay-at-home mother of 7 for most of her life. She loved cleaning and cooking homemade meals for her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Jon A. Laws; son, Tim Wilson, Sr. and daughter Sherry Wilson. She is survived by her children Christopher (Melinda) Wilson of Arizona, Crystal Wilson of Virginia, Joni (Gary) Townsend of Erie, PA, Melanie (Steve) Maxim of Rochester, NY and Scott Wilson of Rochester, NY; 21 grandchildren, Christopher & Taylor Wilson, Joshua Fleck, Breanna Litton, Timothy, Crystal, Nick, Brandon & Triston Wilson, Rena Bishop, Jeromey Eller, Taliba Townsend, Kashima Townsend, Michael Bagley, Ryan Eller, Feleshia & Jonathan Carr, Rayne & Aaron Wilson, Ashton Payne, Jacob Pollak; several great grandchildren and extended family.
A Celebration of Betty's life will be held on August 14, 2023 from 3-8 PM at Stewart Lodge in Mendon Ponds Park.
