Bruce A. Benton

Bruce Benton passed from this earth on February 26, 2025. He leaves behind his wife Nancy J. Benton of Bloomfield, NY and son William L. Benton (Sarah Austin) of Apex, NC.  

Bruce wore many hats in his career. He spent 12 years as a Certified Technology Teacher at various school districts in Western New York. He was also an Information Technology professional with many different specializations. Bruce is a graduate of St. John Fisher, Rochester, NY where he earned an M.S in Education.  

Bruce once owned a 2-seater Decathalon aerobatic plane in which he courted his wife, Nancy. He was also a master fine woodworker where he designed in his workshop wonderful furniture and built a canoe, also caning the seats.  

Bruce will be sorely missed by his wife, son and daughter-in-law, and other relatives and friends.  

Bruce will be interred by Boughton Hill Cemetery in Bloomfield, NY. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
