Connie was surrounded by family as she was lovingly and peacefully called home into the arms of the Lord. Connie was the eldest of nine children.
She is predeceased by her parents, Bruce C. Cookinham and Janet Angell Cookinham; brothers, Gerald “Jerry” Cookinham and Douglas “Dougie” Cookinham; and sister, Martha “Marti”Cookinham Hipps.
She is survived by her brothers Richard (Ellen Sanger) Cookinham and John Cookinham; her sisters Deborah “Debbie” Cookinham, Cheryl (Elias) Sarkis and Donna Cookinham Beach; She also leaves behind her cherished nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews.
Connie was the matriarch of the family for over 20 years, and a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She was an avid fan of Elvis Presley, loved rock-'n'-roll and all kinds of dance music. So now she's up there dancing to the music of the stars along with her brothers Jerry and Dougie, sister Marti and Ma and Dad. And of course the angels to guide her.
