Daniel P. Sherman

On Thursday, November 10, 2022, at age 62. Born in Chili, NY in September 1960, to parents Leonard and Alta Sherman who predeceased him. Also predeceasing him were his brother Scott and his wife, Patti Sherman; as well as his sister Shawn Rothberg and her husband, Bob.

Dan is survived by his sister Kathleen (Ken) Eastman and 11 nieces & nephews; Brian (Kim Morse) Eastman, Kelly (Jon) Nobles, Lauren (Matt Zanchi) Eastman, Jeremy (Katie Gilmore) Law, Melinda Neal, Jonathan (Meghan) Sherman, AJ (Penny McCarty) Rosato, Rachel (Travis) Cotton, Amanda (Jeff) Lathrom, Jason (Bridget) Sherman, Lyndsay Sherman; stepmother Jackie Sherman of North Tonawanda; several great nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dan resided in Buffalo for almost 25 years and had recently relocated to Rochester, NY, to be closer to family.

We would like to thank Cobbs Hill Manor for their kind care of Dan during the last several months.

Dan will be deeply missed and remembered for his positive attitude and love of chocolate, despite many years of struggle he endured with his physical and mental health.

Interment will be private. Kindly consider a donation to the Open Door Mission in Dan's memory.
