Daniel J. Whiteford

Entered into rest on April 2, 2026 at the age of 74. Predeceased by his parents, Jean and Rex Whiteford and his brother Rex Whiteford. Survived by a cousin Paul (Kathy) Neefe and his extended family, brothers Dave Bubel , Tom LaMartina, and his sister Barb Thompson. Dan lived a life full of love, faith, and laughter. For those blessed enough to know him, he leaves us with a multitude of stories.

In my final thoughts of my brother, I want to honor what he brought to this world. Above and beyond all else, was his deep faith in God. He had a clear wisdom and precise vision of the path God set before him. He took my faith and raised it higher, was a teacher, a mentor, and a guide.  He became the finest carpenter and took much pride in his ability, but always gave the credit for his work to God. I remember clearly, upon finishing my deck, he leaned back, put his arm around me and said " Well sis, the Lord has given us a fine deck." Absolutely God did.  That deck, every nail, every cut of its wood, is now comfort and a reminder of everything Dan was with God.  Love, wisdom and ability.
