Deborah is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Arline Peters; sister-in-law Dolores Latoy and brother-in-law Donald Incardona.
While she enjoyed a successful working career, her greatest accomplishment was caring for her children at home for 12 years. Once her children went off to school, she worked as a bookkeeper for Local 46 Sheetmetal Workers Union for 23 years. She was also a longtime member of Gates Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon and elder. She enjoyed baking, especially apple pie and was an accomplished seamstress who designed and created her own wedding dress, several prom dresses and countless other beautiful garments. She loved to shop and was thrilled to find a great deal. Debbie enjoyed playing games; including card games, bingo, slot machines and the occasional games of chance. Debbie also loved sports, especially baseball and her favorite team, the New York Yankees.
Nothing was more important to her than her family, whom she always prioritized. She made family dinner every night, she cared for them and looked forward to learning about their days. She will be dearly missed by them and many others whom she shared time with over the years.
Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 4-7 PM at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Rd. Rochester, NY 14624.
