Denise Lynn Lau Obituary

Denise Lynn Lau, 60, of Hilton, NY, passed away on October 16, 2024, after a long journey filled with love and health challenges. Born on April 1, 1964, in Oceanside, NY, Denise was a mother to five children and a grandmother to thirteen grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.

Denise’s life was not without struggles as she faced significant health issues, yet through it all, her love for her family remained constant. She had a strong spirit and a deep connection to those she cared about. While she may not have always been able to dedicate herself fully to her family, her heart was always with her children and grandchildren.

Despite the hardships she faced, Denise had moments of warmth, laughter, and joy with her family, leaving behind memories that will be cherished forever. She will be remembered not only for her struggles but for her resilience, her love, and the legacy of her family.

Denise is predeceased by her parents, Emma and Edward Kleine, and is survived by her five children, Amanda Vierra (Ryan Cook), Heather Vierra, Jenny (Christopher) Rocker, Stephen (Felicia) Vierra, Robert Lau (Taylor Verstreate), and twelve grandchildren, her sister, Leisha (Sean) Hackett, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Her life, though difficult at times, is a reminder of the power of love and the importance of compassion for those facing personal battles.
