Donald E. Vogler

On December 23, 2024, at age 75, Don passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. He is predeceased by his wife of 33 years, Sandy Vogler; son Chad David Vogler; parents Eugene & Dorothy Vogler; brother Larry Vogler and brother-in-law Bill Snyder. Don is survived by his sons Charles (Heather) Vogler, Christopher (Kelly) Vogler and Michael (Katie) Vogler; grandchildren Caleb Vogler, Morgan Vogler, Derrick Vogler and Daniel Vogler; companion Deb VanLare; brothers & sisters, James (Jeannine) Vogler, Eugene (Kim) Vogler II, Janice (Paul) Hawkins, Rita Snyder; sister-in-law Margaret Vogler; nephews Jon, Adam, Eugene III, Joseph, Andrew, Benjamin Vogler, Scott Hawkins, Will Snyder, Bryan Cowell; nieces Erin Hawkins, Alexandria Vogler, Katie Snyder, Brenda Steinmetz; sisters & brothers of the "Heart" Patty & Robert Lippa, Maryanne & Richard Goole; nephews & nieces of the "Heart" Timothy & Andrew Goole, Robert Lippa Jr. & Debra Lippa; as well as a host of many loving and caring friends.

Don was employed for 31 years at Liberty Tool & Die and then joined FTT Manufacturing until he retired in 2019. After retiring from the tool making trade, he focused on his farm, which he had operated since 1979. He also enjoyed serving as race director at Wyoming County International Speedway for many years, where his son and grandson also raced. He cherished his time spent with his family on the farm and at the race track. 

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, January 3rd from 3-8 PM at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Rd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 4th, beginning at 12:30 PM at Parish of the Holy Family, 4100 Lyell Road. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. 
Don’s Funeral Mass will be streamed on the Parish of the Holy Family Website.
