On March 29, 2023 at age 92. He is predeceased by his siblings Patrick, Helen, Thomas, Mary Lou & William. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 67 years, Dorothy; children Richard (Jo Ann) Egan, Gary (Therese) Egan, Kathleen (Michael) Green & James (Barbara) Egan; grandchildren Kelsey, Emily, Ryan (Kelly), Julia, Brian & Kyle; great granddaughter Della Ann; brother David (Joan); sister Hyacinth; many nieces & nephews.
Ed served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked as a Monroe County Deputy Sheriff, retiring in 1985. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and gardener. He was kind and thoughtful and he loved his family dearly. His presence and captivating stories will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends may call on Monday, April 10 from 4-6 PM at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Rd. His Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 11 at 9:30 AM at St. Theodore’s Church, 168 Spencerport Rd. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
