Churchville: After a long illness, on January 1, 2025. Survived by her husband Michael A. Rapson; children Ronda (Peter Quackenbush) Nelson, Rick Nelson, Gina (Kerry) DeCoursey, Michele (David) Foster, Chris (Marie) Rapson, and Kimberly Rapson Smith; Siblings Ed (Nancy) Rapp, Betty Vail,  and Barbara  (Rick) Schneider; grandchildren Alyshia (Frank) Rodriguez, Breanna Simmons, Devin  Hall, Dustin (Danielle) Hall, Lindsey (Ryan) Kent, Timothy DeCoursey, Betsy Mistretta, and Cindy Foster; fifteen great grandchildren; special lifelong friend Dorothy Lee; and many nieces and nephews.

Fern retired from RIT, she was also an avid seamstress and loved making and giving baby items.   
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 3-5 PM, a Memorial Service will begin at 4:30 PM at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Rd. Rochester, NY 14624.
