Gary P. Mannara, who resided at Union Square in North Chili, NY, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on December 15, 2025, at the age of 71. Gary was a graduate of Gates-Chili High School and spent his career working for both McDonald’s and Eastman Kodak Company. During this time, Gary, who never married, spent many years in his home in West Henrietta, NY. Gary is predeceased by his parents Peter and Antoinette Mannara, and leaves behind several relatives including his brother Joseph, nephews Anthony (wife Jennifer) and Michael (wife Melissa), great-niece Isabella, great-nephews Jovi and Brody, an uncle and several aunts and cousins.
Gary was a quiet soul who enjoyed making new friends and had a life-long passion for Super Hero comics and movies in the DC and Marvel Universe. On weekends he often joined friends at local pubs to support the Buffalo Bills whenever possible. He especially enjoyed attending family holiday get-togethers, as well. Gary will most certainly be well-remembered and missed by all his friends and relatives.
Family and friends are invited to Gary's Funeral Mass on December 29, 2025, beginning at 11 AM at Parish of the Holy Family, 4100 Lyell Road, Rochester, NY 14606, followed by a brief burial service at Holy Ghost Cemetery (across from the church) on Coldwater Road in Gates. All are welcome to attend.
