George “Gordy” Clinton Obituary

George Gordon "Gordy" Clinton passed away Saturday, April 18th.  He was born October 20, 1943 in Buffalo, NY.  He was predeceased by his parents Marian and DeWitt Clinton of Buffalo, New York.
Gordy moved to and settled in Rochester, NY, in the late 1960s, with his bride, Susan (nee Elliott). They were married 52 years and remained madly in love. Gordy attended the Colorado School of Mines and was a US Army veteran.   Gordy worked as an electrical engineer for over 40 years, most recently at Harris Company.  He enjoyed walking Pac-Tac with the police and planting a garden every year, especially sunflowers.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; his 4 children, Marijoy (Kevin) Bertolini, George Jr "Tad" (Jessica), Colin (Sarah), and Elliott (Christie) Clinton; 9 grandchildren whom he adored: Catherine, Christopher, and Mia Bertolini; Lydia, Daphne, Mackenzie, Allie, Reid, and Damien Clinton; one brother DeWitt (Nancy) Clinton; and many dear friends and neighbors.
