Giovina "Gina" Cotraccia-Byrd

On October 27, 2025, Gina passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Gene Byrd; son Stephen P. LaVilla; parents Luigi and Lucia Cotraccia; siblings Albert, Antonio (Nina), Alfredo, Rita & Mario (Janice) Cotraccia. Gina is survived by her daughter Paula (Patrick) McKenna; step children Audrey Rice and Eric Byrd; grandchildren Amalia and John McKenna; her friend and the father of her children Stephen N. LaVilla; brother Fred (Maria) Cotraccia; lifelong friends Loreta, Nicolina and Donna; cousin Robert Meli; sisters-in-law Sally Cotraccia and Angelina Cotraccia; brother-in-law Peter Royle; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

She will be interred privately alongside her husband Gene Byrd, in Western NY National Cemetery. Kindly consider making a donation to the Hildebrandt Hospice Care center in her memory.
