Helen Marie Leach

Helen Marie Leach, 69 of Fairport, NY, passed away on June 3, 2025, at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester NY. Helen was born on January 25, 1956, in Batavia, NY. She was the daughter of the late Allen Jay Leach Sr.
She is survived by her mother, Rosa Heggs Leach, of Pavilion NY; daughter, Michele R Leach, of Poconos PA; brother, Allen Leach Jr, of Akron NY; sister Mary (Brodrick) Wilcox, of St Augustine FL; brother, Jeffery (Lisa) Leach, of Batavia NY; brother, Randy (Chris) Leach, of Batavia NY; brother, Michael (Marcia) Leach, of Caledonia NY; brother, David Leach, of LeRoy NY; brother, Kevin Leach, of Pavilion NY and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Batavia, NY. She actively participated in youth activities and held the position of Youth Leader, where she enjoyed working with children. She enjoyed baking her famous cookies, bringing them to all the family gatherings. She finally shared her secret ingredient with a few nieces to continue the tradition. She also enjoyed making her macaroni and cheese and bragged that she made the best.
She was known for her direct manner, which made it clear where you stood with her and had an infectious laugh. She will be profoundly missed by everyone.
