Jean Marie Meagher

Jean peacefully passed away October 21, 2025, at age 96. She is predeceased by her husband Robert E. Meagher; special friend Paul Baker; grandson Dan Hutchings; parents Almon and Marie Klubertanz; and parents-in-law Thomas and Mary Meagher.

Jean is survived by her daughters Sharon (James) Wylot and Sue (Ronald) Hutchings; son Robert (Darrin Barber) Meagher; grandsons Michael (Christina) Hutchings and James (Amy) Wylot, great grandchildren Danny Hutchings, Liam Wylot, Lilah Hutchings and Adelyn Wylot; sisters-in-law Carol Ducey and Mary Margaret Meagher; brother-in-law Charles (Evelyn) Meagher; close family friend Joseph Baker; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jean was a graduate of St. Charles Borromeo School and Nazareth Academy. She enjoyed her life, especially spending time listening to music, bowling, playing cards, bingo, vacationing with friends in Myrtle Beach and spending the winter months in Phoenix. She had many fond memories and formed many friendships while working part-time at McCulloch’s Restaurant across from Kodak Park. She always looked forward to family gatherings as an opportunity to spend time with the people she loved most.

Family and Friends are invited to call on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 3:00 PM-6:00 PM at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 3003 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY 14616, starting at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
