Jeanette "Jean" Tytler

Jeanette Tytler passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025 at age 91. She is predeceased by her husband Frederick “Fritz” Tytler and brother Patrick Attridge. Jean is survived by her children David (Katherine “Kitty”) Tytler and Susan (Robert) Johansson; grandchildren Kelly (Joel) Matison, Samuel (Kimberly) DeRosa, and Nicole (Bill) Skutul; great grandchildren Ethan DeRosa, Zachary Skutul, Addison Skutul, Billy Skutul, and Cameron Matison; sister-in-law Joy Attridge; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Jean was an active member of the Gates-Chili Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and Caledonia Country Club. She enjoyed travelling with her husband and their friends for many years. They spent a great deal of time in Gulf Shores, AL. She loved her family; especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and they will all miss her dearly.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, September 23 from 5-7 PM at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624. Interment will be private at a later date in Westside Memorial Gardens.
