Jeanne E. Goss (Wagar) Spaulding
Obituary
On May 31, 2022, Jeanne E. Goss Wagar Spaulding passed away peacefully at the age of 97. She is predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Emma Goss and first husband, George H. Wagar Jr.
Left to cherish her memory; her husband of 35 years, Robert W. Spaulding; daughters, Kathleen Wagar Lenzo and Karen (Steven) Wagar Hood. Jeanne also leaves behind family members, Carl (Marsha) Guth, Jean Schult, Carol (Richard) Makowiecki, Robert (Donna) Spaulding, Wayne Spaulding and many grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Jeanne was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Mumford UP Church, Ogden Presbyterian and Third Presbyterian Churches. She loved to travel, was an avid W.H. Goss china & antique collector and enjoyed a variety of music. After graduating high school from Ben Franklin and attending classes at the University of Rochester, she performed photo retouching at Eastman Kodak and spent many years as Postmaster of the Mumford, NY and Palm Harbor, FL post offices.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, June 7 at Mumford Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to Mumford United Presbyterian, Ogden Presbyterian or 3rd Presbyterian of Rochester.
