Jeffrey J. Steines

Jeffrey J. Steines passed unexpectedly at his home on Monday, August 11, 2025. Born July 22, 1980, in Rochester, NY, Jeff was a proud son, brother, father, and friend whose love for his children was the heartbeat of his life.

He is survived by his children Bryan, Abigail, Blake and Alexis, along with their mothers Jessica Luppa and Sheena Owens. He also leaves behind his mother Mary Steines, brothers Scott Steines and Dave Steines, and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and extended family. He is predeceased by his father Robert Steines, and grandparents Robert and Jean Seger.

Raised in Hilton, NY, by his loving parents, Jeff lived a life filled with adventure, road trips, and music. Whether it was taking in a concert with his daughters, enjoying long drives with friends, or packing up for a family getaway, Jeff embraced life’s moments with the volume turned up. His children were his world — he delighted in showing them new places and making memories together, from the lights of New York City to the beaches of New Hampshire, from the magic of Disney World to countless simple moments at home. If his kids needed him, he was there without hesitation.

Jeff leaves his greatest blessings — his children — to carry on his legacy and make him proud. And though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort knowing that somewhere, Jeff is still “kickstartin’ his heart” and smiling down on the people he loved most.
