Jensen A. Caraballo Obituary

Passed away on March 14, 2025, at age 34. Jensen is predeceased by his grandmother Santa "Lumy" Rodriguez and uncle Wilfredo Colon Jr.

He is survived by his mother Brenda Colon and father Marcos A. Caraballo; siblings Yaitza Caraballo, Brandon Elliott Sr., Josheline Lebron, Nilcire Caraballo, Alondra Caraballo, Marcos William Caraballo, and Marcos Antonio Caraballo; nephews Brandon Elliott, Carmelo Bullock, and Josiah Elliot; many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and fiancé Lamynne Brown.

Jensen was a lifelong freedom fighter. He not only fought for his free freedom, but the freedom of others. As an advocate he told vivid stories where he shared the realities that disabled people face everyday. He was passionate and had a way with words, his poetry, not only connected folks to his vulnerability it told the story of a man who always knew the world could be a better place. Jensen was a free spirit who wasn’t afraid to love out loud, who wasn’t afraid to bare it all for the greater good. He left a lasting impact on many and inspired all of us to fight the good fight and stay in good trouble. 

Friends and family are invited to the Memorial Service for Jensen Caraballo on Wednesday, March 19 at 1pm at Temple Sinai, 363 Penfield Road Rochester, NY 14625.
