Jo Ann Curran

Jo Ann passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 13, 2026, at age 70. She is predeceased by her parents William and Gail Sawers; and brother James Sawers.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years John “Jack” Curran; daughter Kelly (William Silvarole) Curran; granddaughter Piper; grandson William; sister Irene (Thomas) Shellman; brother William (Patricia) Sawers; sister in law Kathryn Curran; many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Jo Ann enjoyed a long successful career in the insurance industry. Since retiring she loved spending time with her grandchildren, as well as the company of friends, while enjoying a glass of wine. She loved her family and they will miss her.

Family and friends are invited to Celebrate Jo Ann's life between 12-3 PM on Saturday April 25, 2026 at Julie's Place, 1615 Scottsville Rd, Rochester, NY14623. Kindly consider making a donation in Jo Ann's memory to American Diabetes Association.
