On May 20, 2022. Predeceased by her husband Carl E. "Ed" Vander. Survived by her children Mark (Eileen) Vander, Tracy Vander; grandchildren Carl & Sandra Vander; great grandson Sebastian Vander; sister Kay Knop and Alice Sposato, nieces, nephews & cousins. Jo Ann was an active member of Gates Presbyterian Church. 
Friends are invited to a Celebration of her Life on Wednesday, May 25 at 4 PM at Gates Presbyterian Church, 1049 Wegman Rd. Rochester, NY 14624. Expressions of Sympathy may be directed to the church or Gates Volunteer Ambulance in her memory.
