On June 13, 2026 at age 59. John passed away peacefully in his home. He was predeceased by his mother Sylvia Metz.

He is survived by his sons Zack and Nick Duemmel; grandchildren Amelia, Cameron and Delaney.

A private Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
