Joseph V. Barr

Peacefully at home on November 28, 2024, at age 74. He is predeceased by his daughter Janice; parents, John and Carmella Barr and step-grandchildren Camdyn & Camryn Garbutt. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Debbie Barr (Fritz); children Michelle (Michael) Dixon and John (Holly) Barr; stepchildren Scott (Jeannie) Garbutt, Patrick (Christina) Garbutt and Jeffrey Garbutt; grandchildren Joe (Michelle) Barr, Samantha Barr, Rachel Dixon, Chris Dixon, Baylee Garbutt, Kaige Kirk, Leia Kirk, Gavin Garbutt, Raelyn Garbutt, Addilynn Garbutt, Oaklynn Garbutt, Keirsten Shelby and Lexi Kleptz; siblings Lorraine (William, deceased) LoVerde, John (Lynette) Barravecchia and Robert (Laura) Barr; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Joe's family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Wilmot Cancer Center in Webster, NY for their care.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 4-7 PM, with a Service of Remembrance to immediately follow at 7 PM, at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624.
