Our beloved mother, Julia Caruso, passed away peacefully in the Lord's loving arms, surrounded by family, on October 7, 2023. Predeceased by her husband Costanzo "Custy" Caruso; parents Peter and Delia DeVincentis and sweet Paisley. Survived by her children Richard (Laura) Caruso, Deborah Caruso Smith, Ellen Caruso, Barbara (Robert) Lank and Leslie (Lou) DiCesare; cherished grandchildren Lauren (Steve) Caruso-Terry, Hannah Caruso, Andrew Caruso, Christopher DiCesare, Benjamin DiCesare, Brien (Megan) Lank, and Brendan Lank, and precious great grandson James Caruso-Terry; step-grandchildren Alexandra Cowden and Cameron Cilano; step-great granchildren Asher and Arianna Cowden; dear sisters Marge Conderman, Carol MacGregor and Barbara (Tony) Syracuse; many dear nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends Father Anthony Mugavero and Betsy MacKinnon, and her Holy Apostles Church family. We would like to thank the palliative care and hospice care staff at Strong Memorial and Highland Hospital for their compassionate care over the past three months.
A Celebration of Julia's life will be held on Saturday, October 14, at 10 AM at Holy Apostles Church, 7 Austin Street (at Lyell Avenue), Rochester, NY 14606. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, NY. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Holy Apostles Church.
