Passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, at age 65. She is predeceased by her parents Carl and Mary “Marie” Migliore; sisters Maryann Milke and Laurie Migliore.
She is survived by her children Alicia (Jenae) Cochran, Liana Maldonado, Nick (Rochelle) Maldonado and Joe Maldonado; grandchildren Grace, Colin, Jameson, Roman, and Jackson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Karla was born and raised in Rochester, NY. She was a devoted mother, sister, and friend. Karla dedicated her life to being a mother. She loved and cared for everyone she met and was like a mom to many people. She loved to have people visit her home for dinner and special occasions. Karla enjoyed shopping, Bingo, Yahtzee and playing other games. She would cook for an army, even if she had two guests. Karla's strength through hardship was admirable. To know her was to feel seen, loved, and comforted. Whether it was through her warm smile, unshakable strength, or gentle presence, or a full belly she left a mark on everyone she met. She had a love for her family that they will miss dearly.
Friends and family are invited to a Funeral Service planned for May 4, 2025 beginning at 1pm at Word of Life Christian Fellowship, located at 3374 Winton Rd. Rochester,NY 14623.
