Linda C (Cragg) Groves

On February 20, 2020. Predeceased by parents Burton R. & Marie Cragg. Survived by loving husband of 55 years John Groves; son Norman (Marcia) Groves; grandsons Nathan & Tyler Groves; Russ (Susan) Cragg; niece Kate Cragg; nephew Will Cragg; sister-in-law Joanne Groves; many cousins and friends.

Linda worked at the RIT library for over 45 years. She was a Master Gardener with the Cornell Cooperative Extension and a teacher of English as a Second Language who loved to share her knowledge with others.

She was involved in many organizations including Genesee Valley Audubon Society, Genesee Valley Treasure Seekers, Total Sound Vocal Group, and several book groups. She also had a passion for playing and collecting games. Linda graduated from Brighton High School and Rochester Institute of Technology. Linda enjoyed spending time with her friends and family at their lake home in Seneca Falls.

A Memorial Service will be held at Ridgeland Community Church, 260 Beckwith Rd. West Henrietta, NY 14586 on Saturday, March 7th. Friends and family are invited to call from 2-4 PM and the Memorial Service will begin at 4 PM. An abbreviated obituary containing those details will also be published in the Sunday, March 1st edition of the Democrat & Chronicle.
