Predeceased by his mother, Colleen (Brown) DeMoras (8/18/2007), and father, Henri DeMoras (6/06/2023).
Survived by his siblings, Nicole (Tom) Chilbert and brother Mathieu (Heather) DeMoras; nieces Meghan (Joseph) DiMauro, Emily (Antwann) Brown, Shannon Puffer; nephews, Shawn (Jennifer) Puffer, and Benedict (Maci) DeMoras, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
Marc had extensive interests including music, Scouting BSA, fishing and sports.
Notably, Marc’s predominant sport was hockey (goaltender), though he participated in several events in the Special Olympics.
In the Boy Scouts he was a junior leader and obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. He earned nearly every merit badge offered, and participated regularly in camps and jamborees.
In his early life, Marc played percussion in his high school’s band and the xylophone.
Most of all, Marc loved being with his family, especially when celebrating with great food and commanding conversations, or board games.
He also loved fishing with his father, taking nature hikes or excursions to new sites.
Friends and family are invited to a Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 21, 2023 beginning at 10 AM at St. Pius X Church, 3010 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY 14624. Interment will follow at St. Columba’s Cemetery in Caledonia, NY.
