Martin R. Ohman passed away suddenly on December 30, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Kristine Ohman (nee Fletcher); children Rob (Ty) Ohman-Myers, Beth Ohman & Katie Ohman; parents Robert & Marcia Ohman; brother Jeff (Denise) Ohman; brothers-in-law Kurt (Leah) Fletcher and Kevin (Alicia) Fletcher; beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, many friends and 2 cats, Dobby and Voldie.
Marty was a 1982 graduate of Falconer High School, a 1984 graduate of Jamestown Community College and earned his Bachelor Degree from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1987. He began his career at Xerox Corp. and continued on to EDS, HP and most recently, Excellus, where he worked as an Integration Engineer. Marty always put his family first and was a good friend to many. He was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, New York Mets and Buffalo Sabres. He enjoyed listening to music, concerts and going to the movies. He was always generous with his time and talents in support of others.
Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, January 5 from 4-6 PM at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Road, Gates, NY 14624. A Celebration of Martin's Life will be held on Saturday, January 6, at 11 AM at Gates Presbyterian Church, 1049 Wegman Road, Gates, NY 14624. It was important to Marty to protect others, so the family asks that guests be masked while attending these events.
