Mary Jane (Morris) Smith

Mary Jane (Morris) Smith, 77, of Rochester, NY, died Wednesday, August 18, 2021 after recently
being diagnosed with cancer. Mary Jane was born June 19, 1944 in Andrews, South Carolina
to the late Cleveland Sr and Mary Lee Morris.
Her husband, Lewis Smith, preceded her in death in 2017. Besides her husband, she was also
predeceased by her niece Teresa Morris, and her siblings Cleveland II and Lilly.
She is survived by her two nephews, whom she raised, Cleveland III (Jessica) and
Terry (Jeannie Avera) Morris. She is also survived by her step sons Norman (Kitty), Keefer, and Gerald;
along with her brothers Henry and Edward (Delois).
Mary Jane retired from Eastman Kodak Company. She enjoyed going to the casino, sitting in
the park, and visits with her family.
In compliance with her final wishes, there will be no services.
