Mom’s two greatest loves in life were her family, and animals. She was passionate about caring for all animals and rescued many throughout her life. She would tell you she loved animals more than most people.
Mom drove a school bus for many years for BOCES and made wonderful friends that she enjoyed playing mah-jongg with for the past few years.
Everyone will remember mom for her feisty personality. She was outgoing and would talk to anyone about anything. She loved discussing politics and would do so at the drop of a hat. She was kind to everyone, and was always thinking of others before herself.
A Graveside Service at Rushville Cemetery in Rushville, NY will be held in the late spring/early summer. Details will be forthcoming. In lieu of flowers, please consider doing a random act of kindness in Mom’s memory or make a donation to an animal support or rescue agency.
