Peacefully, at home on February 6, 2024. Nancy is predeceased by her high school sweetheart, William W. Dalton. She is survived by her daughters Debra Staub, Brenda Dalton and Pamela (Peter) Tabone; grandchildren William Staub, Travis Christine, Margaret Tabone, Abigail Tabone and Emily Tabone; nieces, nephews, extended family and those whom Nancy "adopted" over the years. A special thanks to Robin Thompson from Aunt Nancy for all of the love and care which she shared.
Nancy worked as a teacher's aide in the Gates-Chili CSD for 27 years, encouraging and guiding many students during that time. She was a loving, caring and kind person who never turned anyone away. She, in turn, was loved by all.
Friends and family are invited to call on Friday February 16, 2024 from 4-7 PM at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Road. A Funeral Service will be held the following morning, beginning at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Grove Place Cemetery, located at the corner of Chili Ave. & Marshall Rd. in Chili. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to Gates-Chili Educational Foundation or by mail c/o Rhonda Laskoski, 3 Spartan Way, Rochester, NY 14624.
