Nancy Ann Neerbasch

Nancy Ann Neerbasch, age 85, passed away peacefully on September 29 after succumbing to a long battle with Alzheimer's. Predeceased by her daughter Lauren Rizzuto-Candelario, and infant son William M. Neerbasch. She is survived by her husband, George (Bill) Neerbasch; sons, Steven (Rita) Neerbasch, and David Neerbasch; grandchildren, Jessica (Aric) Schaubroeck, Niki (Chad) Gaesser, Robert Neerbasch, Alexander French, and William Neerbasch; Great-Granddaughters, Juniper and Alivia.

Nancy worked at Kodak for many years in food service as a cafeteria manager and in the film testing department. She was also chairwoman of the Fresh Air Fund for over 25 years where she facilitated bringing hundreds of underprivileged children from New York City to suburban homes in the Greece area. She personally hosted nearly a dozen children in her own home, many of which have maintained contact with her throughout the years.

Nancy will be remembered for her spunky personality, her impressive antique collection, and her amazing cooking talent. She and her husband were married for 65 years, she was the love of his life.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 12, 11 am - noon at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624. Donations can be made to The Alzheimer's Association in Nancy's memory.
