Norman Willits Obituary

Churchville: Passed away on January 6, 2025 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Marion Willits. He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Sheila Willits (née Fish); children Deanna (Alan) Pimm, Kelly (Chris Young) Maulfair, Carrie (Carl) Hall and Andrew (Allysa) Willits; grandchildren Brandon (Samantha) Geery, Christopher Hall, Kyle Young, Courtney Young, Ellyana Willits, Rylie Willits, Sofiya Willits, Xander Willits and Sylas Willits; great grandchildren Bentley, Bella, Skyler and Marlon; sister Carol (Paul) Brown; nephew James Brown and niece Susan (James) DeCaro; and a large extended family and friends.

Norm grew up on Hinchey Road, in a house his father built. He owned and operated Willits Lumber Co. on Chili Avenue, which was founded by his father. He enjoyed woodworking, pot-bellied stoves, and antique automobiles. He will be remembered for his love of telling jokes and collecting.

Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 3-5 pm at James R. Gray Funeral Home. A brief Service will follow.
