Osilia Ivette Puron, 58, passed away peacefully with her beloved dogs by her side—her loyal companions and constant source of joy.
Osilia was a force to be reckoned with. Fiercely independent, strong-willed, and full of vibrant energy, she lived life entirely on her own terms. She was unapologetically herself—someone who spoke her mind, stood her ground, and poured her heart into the people and passions she loved most.
She dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a home health aide supporting individuals with disabilities. Her work wasn't just a job—it was a reflection of her compassion and her deep belief in making the world better for those who needed it most.
Her children—Joseph, Phillip, Alyxandrea, and Taylor—were the heartbeat of her world. She was their biggest supporter and fiercest protector. Alijah, Aiden, Nina, Phillip, and Jayden—her grandchildren—were deeply loved by her, and though their time together was too brief, they held a special place in her heart.
Osilia was always in motion—ambitious, creative, and full of life. Whether she was remodeling a room, helping her brother on his farm, or picking up a new skill, her hands were never still, and her mind was never quiet.
She was predeceased by her beloved brother, Heriberto, and is survived by her father Pedro, her mother Zoila, and her siblings Pedro, Enrique, Ileana, Jorge, and Marilyn, who each carry her memory—and her fire—with them always.
A private service will be held with close family and friends. Her fire doesn't go out with her passing—it burns on in the lives she touched, a light that will not fade away.
