Paul was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend. Paul passed peacefully on March 22, 2026, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He is predeceased by his parents Julie and Ward O’Hara; grandmother "Fast" Veronica Williams; and brother-in-law Ron Macartney.
He is survived by his siblings Kathy Macartney, Jim O'Hara, Michele (Blake) Doyle and Shawn (Lisa) O'Hara; nieces and nephews Scott (Penny) Macartney, Shari (Rick) Roemer, Jamie (Bryan) Frank, Cailin (Josh) Kukuvka, Kyle O'Hara, Kevin (Christine) O’Hara, Courtney (Chris) Soprano; great nieces and nephews Peyton and Colin Roemer; Emma and Mason Macartney, Hudson Frank, Charly & Sydney Kukuvka, Carson & Callie Soprano and many dear friends.
Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, playing horseshoes, cornhole, and darts. He loved to entertain people as a licensed pyrotechnician, creating fireworks shows over Lamoka Lake as often as he could. His happy place was at his home on “Lamoka Lake.” Even though his health prevented him from hunting, he would visit his hunting blind to watch the deer and surround himself with nature. He was a beloved uncle to all his nieces and nephews and they will miss him.
A Celebration of Paul's Life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider an act of kindness to others in his memory.
