Raymond M. Rauchfuss

After a long illness, Ray passed away on September 20, 2023. He was 65 years old. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Karen Ann (nee Jacobsen); his 5 children, Thomas (Lisa), Maureen (Jerry) Temple, Scott (fiancé, Stephanie Merriman), James (fiancé, Ashley Oakleaf), Michelle (Matthew) Latoy; 8 grandchildren, SeAndra, Christian, Caroline, Natalie, and Liam Rauchfuss, Riley Coyle, Grace and Thomas Latoy and beloved aunt, Ilse Tittjung of Ohio.

Ray was a kind and loving husband, dad and grandpa. His family meant everything to him. Ray was a quiet thinker and a hardworking man who loved to read and travel with his wife. He also enjoyed NASCAR races and curating his train collection.

A Funeral Mass has been planned for Saturday, October 7 at 9:30 am at St. Theodore’s R.C. Church, located at 168 Spencerport Rd. in Gates, NY. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Ray’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation, 1344 University Ave., Rochester, NY 14607.
