Rita Weaver, beloved mom and Nani, passed away suddenly on January 16, 2024.
Rita was born on January 28, 1948, in Rochester, New York, to Anthony and Zita Celento whom preceded her in death. She is also predeceased by her sister, Gail Celento and brother, Anthony Celento Jr.
She is survived by her son, David Smilack; daughter, Andrea Lonville; son, Tige (Wendy) Testa; grandchildren Michael (Valerie) Lonville, Samantha (Shane McQueen) Adams, Jared Smilack, and Gabrielle Testa; and great-grand children Philip Lonville, Jameson McQueen and Mirren McQueen. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them grow. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital in Ritas memory.
May she rest in eternal peace.
Friends and family are invited to her Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11 am at Parish of the Holy Family, 4100 Lyell Road. Friends and family are also invited to a Celebration of Rita’s Life at 1:00 pm on January 28, 2024 at the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que (2nd Floor)
