On January 14, 2023. Predeceased by his parents Donald & Sylvia Lindeman; sister Donna Asklof and parents-in-law Bernard and Rita Zapf. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Kathleen Mary Lindeman; son Donald (Tammy) Lindeman; daughters Karen (Jason) Conrad, SarahBeth (William Boggs) Lindeman, Amy (Peter) Sawyer; grandchildren Aaron, Zane, Zack, Griffin, Derek and Emmitt; brothers Michael (Linda) Lindeman and Douglas (Janet) Lindeman; brothers & sisters-in-law Bernard (Patti) Zapf, Robert (Anne) Zapf, Brian (Alicia) Zapf, Christine (James) Longo, David (Valerie) Zapf and Douglas (Ellen) Zapf; many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
Bob was a proud Staff Sergeant and Combat Veteran who served in the United States Army in Vietnam. He was a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan who was devoted to his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with his entire family.
Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 4 - 7 PM at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 beginning at 11 AM at Parish of the Holy Family, 4100 Lyell Road, Rochester, NY 14606, and Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, where military honors will be rendered.
