On Friday July 8, 2022, at age 78. Predeceased by his beloved parents, Charles and Marie; his cherished daughter, Monica. He is survived by his sister Marcha (David) Zimmerman; his brother James (Donna) Palmer; his grandson Lucian; many nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces, whom all loved him very much.
Robert was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, father and friend. He was a hard worker who, despite early mornings and long days, always made the time to be with his family; attending every gathering he could. He loved collecting things, keeping an eye out for rare finds, and was happy to share stories of the things he had found and their potential worth. Of all the things he found, though, there was nothing he valued more highly than his family and friends. He never hesitated to give of what he had and always did his best to help those around him to "Have a great day!" (a favorite slogan which he often shared that showed his positive attitude and which he captured on his license plates as "HVAGR8DA"). He was a talented, creative and imaginative person, expressing himself in many ways; among them photography, carpentry, painting, baking, and even some inventing. Robert was a veteran of the United States Army.
Interment in Stryker Rd. Cemetery (Off Scottsville-Chili Rd) on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 11 AM. Uncle Bob is already missed very much and will be remembered always with a smile by those who were blessed to have known him.
