Robert John (Fava) Manard Obituary

Tragically lost his life after an accident at home. Robert is predeceased by his longtime companion Gail Gardner; mother Ottavia Fava; nephew Haydn McCombs; grandparents James & Mary Fava Paravati; step-grandfather Joseph Paravati; and uncle James Fava.

He is survived by his sisters Mary Ann Ranghelli and Suzanne Fava; niece Mary (Loren) McLaughlin; nephews Daniel McCombs, Jeffrey (Shani Remer) Flagg, and Troy (Amber Altrieth-Flagg) Flagg; Gail’s children Mark Gardner, Michele Griswold, Michael Gardner, and their children; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends.

Bob was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, Monroe Community College, St. John Fisher, and Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester. His last position was as a salesperson for Empire Realty Group, in Webster. He had also enjoyed previous careers with General Motors, Xerox, and Haydn Homes. He also operated a web design business called Faces That Work, where Bob mentored many people.

Bob was fond of nature, regularly hiking at Mendon Ponds Park. He possessed many abilities that he learned throughout the years and was a Jack of all trades. Bob was a lifelong parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church, in Spencerport. Bob will be interred during a private graveside service. He will be remembered during a Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, on June 21, 2026 at 7:45 AM.
