Ronald David Schlosser, born on October 6, 1933, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on September 6, 2025 at the age of 91 in Sweetwater, Tennessee. He is predeceased by his son, Kevin Charles (Linda) Schlosser; parents David Charles Schlosser & Leona Ness Schlosser Graczyk; brother Robert Schlosser and sister Karen Graczyk Arnold. Survived by his loving wife, Marilyn “Mickey” Vowles Schlosser, sons Kyle (Marie) Schlosser and Keith (Shelley) Schlosser; grandsons Scott Schlosser, Alexander (Emily) Schlosser, Peter (Lauren) Schlosser, Ryan Schlosser, Rex (Trevor) Schlosser; granddaughters Chelsea (Michael) Duerr and Courtney Schlosser; great-grandchildren Chloe, Charlie and McCain Duerr and Ella, Sofie, Grayson and Nora Schlosser; brothers David (Joan) and Vaughn (Kathy), and many nieces and nephews.
Ron graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology and spent his working career at General Railway Signal Company and the John L. Klug Corporation. He most enjoyed spending time with family, his good friends, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an avid sports fan, always rooting for the Buffalo Bills and enjoyed an occasional game of Euchre. In his younger years, he enjoyed numerous family camping trips including an epic 5-week cross country trip.
Services are planned to be held at a future date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, Ron would be pleased to have anyone wishing to make a donation to consider the Gates Historical Society
