At age 96, Rudi Werner Kremmin peacefully passed away at his home in Boca Raton, Florida, on January 4th, 2021.
Rudi was born in his adored Baltic Sea port of Danzig, a Free State, on April 20th, 1924. Rudi’s early foster life was a difficult one. His struggles provided the opportunity and love his family is enjoying now. We thank Rudi for his sacrifice of emigrating from East Germany at a challenging time. Rudi was a patriarch, loving husband, father, grandfather, and a true friend to all. Rudi’s innate gift of making friends and laughter will be missed and be an inspiration to all who knew him.
Our beloved father (Opa) will rest next to his dear wife Frieda Kremmin at the Riverside Cemetery mausoleum in Rochester, New York.
Rudi is survived by his daughter; Renate Kremmin Fleischmann, and three sons; Klaus (Anna) Kremmin, Thomas (Hildegard) Kremmin, and Werner (Fran) Kremmin, along with his eight grandchildren; Klaus Kremmin Jr., Zina (Rich) Hocker, Leah Fleischmann, Kristin (Michael) Spurgeon, Kurt (Michelle) Kremmin, Lisa (Jeff) Brancamp, Tina (John) Guenther and Danielle (Troy) Schuck and many loving great-grandchildren and found family members.
The family has chosen to celebrate, honor, and give Prost! to Rudi’s remarkable life come June 2021 in Rochester, New York. Anybody blessed to have known Rudi would understand that’s what he would have wanted.
