Ruth S. Hilbert

Ruth S. Hilbert passed away on December 30, 2023, from complications of an aortic aneurysm. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, John E. Hilbert; son, John Warren (at birth); daughter, Catherine Perez (47); brother and sisters, Raymond Burroughs, Mildred Drake, Virginia Hunt, Joan Scowcroft, and Mary Ann Cardo; daughter-in-law, Ruth E Hilbert, granddaughter, Kaitlyn Vitt, and a great-granddaughter, Kara Paige. Ruth is survived by her children, Patricia (Ben) Miele, Michael (Jayne) Hilbert, Jean Vitt, David Hilbert, Timothy Hilbert; grandchildren, Rebecca Kressman, Anthony (Andrea) Miele, Christine (Sean) Hope, Tim Miele, Bob (Sharon) Miele, Shawna Rootness, Josh (Vanessa) Rootness, Tamara Raney, Trevor Hilbert, Adam Russo, Jason Ezzo, Lyndsey Snyder, Phillip Hilbert, DeAnna Hilbert, Alyssa (Sam) Redding, Amanda (Todd) Adams, Kathryn (Kenneth) Velazquez; cousin, Dorie Bater and a best friend. Thirty-one children called her great-grandma!

Ruth was born on November 14, 1936 and lived a long and fulfilling life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family. Ruth loved crossword puzzles and was known for her witty nature and humor. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

At Ruth's request, no formal services will be held.
